Hello! I thought I’d share about a knitting tool that I’ve been really enjoying lately, 4” (or 10 cm) wood, double pointed knitting needles. They have been really handy when knitting toys, mittens, gloves and baby hats.
I had seen someone online mention that they enjoyed knitting with double pointed needles at this length. That started me down a rabbit hole to look for some to try with my knitting. I wanted to share about these needles because the 4” (10 cm) length can be hard to find.

I’ve found some through the following sources: Individual Wood DPN needles & Needle Sets from Wool Warehouse, Knit Picks 4” needle set, Minerva 4” Clover needles.

I’m not sure why the 4” (10 cm) needle length is difficult to find? It’s a really handy length to have on hand.

If you haven’t tried wood 4” (10 cm) DPN’s, I highly recommend you give them a try! I’m so glad that I did. The hat pictured is the Stripey Stocking Cap pattern from the book, Itty Bitty Hats by Susan B. Anderson. If you’ve found 4” (10 cm) wood DPNs as well from other sources, please share where you’ve found them as well, in the comments!
